I'm blogging today instead of yesterday cos last night I was reading a book and was so engrossed in it dat i din feel like leaving the book to go online... *ah chee* *ah chee*Gosh... I wonder if there's someone missing me or scolding me... I suspect someone is scolding me and i think it's Len and AJ... Haha...Anyway... Yup... Yesterday was an ok day at work... Had a busy evening... (Thanks to our dearest Per Boon... Thanks fro the great suggestion u gave the customer which kept me busy the entire evening... Haha...) When the crowd sorta died down... Zhang Yan made an extra BLOODY MARY by accident... Tot I'll give it a try to see it tastes like... So i took a small sip... Eeeewwwwww!!! My face was like scrunged up and my legs went so damn weak... Now i know wat kevin meant when he said it has an acquired taste and not many pple will like it... Thank god i belong to the majority...Zhang Yan and I decided to play a little trick on Jason... We transfered the remaining of the Bloody Mary into a beer mug and stir it up a little so there'll be a higher chance dat he might not recognise the drink... I den called him out... With the excuse that i made a new drink and i wish for him to try it out... Just before he drank it... I told him he gotta take a huge gulp and it'll taste nicer...He took a relatively big sip and his eyes grew big... Pointed his third finger at me... And ran to the bin to spit it out... Zhang Yan and I were practically rolling with laughter... You really should have seen his face and expression at dat very point of time... Haha... Anyway... I'm gonna stop here... chill and relax at home before I start work at 5pm later... :)Cheers

Hey hey... I'm back again after not blogging for a few days... Been pretty tired and so haven been blogging much...
Anyway... I went to Suntec on Tuesday during my split break with Jason to collect my certificate of proficiency in foreign domestic worker insurance and we saw a roadshow for cars!!! Check this out.... (the car, not the "model" who is jason...)
Wednesday was my off day... Wanted to go ice-skating but in the end din cos kena fly kite by some assholes... So Max ah bang, Jason and myself went to Jurong entertainment centre and played pool... den went to the freaking lousy arcade with a freaking kuai lan counter staff... after which we went to macs to buy ice-cream... Jason din want... He only wanted to smoke... Haha... Den ah bang also smoke with him and eat ice-cream at the same time... I dun like to smoke while eating so i finished my ice-cream den smoke... Halfway when i was smoking... They lit another cig... I threw my cig butt into the flowerbed beside us... When they finished smoking... Ah bang threw his onto the floor and Jason threw his into the flowerbed too... Suddenly 3 Indian guys walked up to us and asked us if we are Singaporeans... Den they told us they're from NEA... That's when i tot... Dat's it... There goes my next month's pay... Den they asked for Jason's ID... Followed by Ah Bang's... I was not fined... Haha... That's when i realised they must have been caught during the second time they threw it... You should have seen Jason's face... Here's one photo... Haha...
Thursday...Back to work... Chiller damn messy... But well... Shall not mention the upsetting stuff... I decorated my choc heart again... Kevin said this time even nicer... Here's a photo of it...
Den i stupidly destroyed one side of the cake on Friday morning during opening... So i had to savage the cake and this is what it looks like now... Haha...
It got a bit boring in the afternoon... Den we started horse playing ard... This pic shows Jason trying to kill me with a SCREWDRIVER... Lol...
Den... (Proudly) I created a very simple but pretty nice drink... Though not perfected yet... Mr Eric Toh named it for me... JEALOUS PINK PANTHER!!! Haha... Isn't the name cute? It's called jealous pink panther cos it's pinkish in colour and it's sour... Den I came up with aonther... Called the Jealous Pink Panther Float... This one tastes better... Haven got a nicely presented one... So din take a photo of it... Will do so when i have the chance to... Den in the evening I made a double candy floss heart instead of the usual candy floss heart... Kevin said it was good and guess wat was Len's reaction? You got it!!! ROLL HER EYES OF COS!!! Here's a pic of it... May not be very clear... Will take another one if i do it again... Heh...

Today started off pretty good initially... No trouble... No nothing... Den during the afternoon slot (3 to 6pm)... Kevin asked me to get a list of housekeeping done... So i started on it... N soon everyone was working their asses off... Or almost everyone I should say... I got Jason to clean our signboards and Aldrin to clean the glass panels in the VIP room... I myself went to clean the divider in the VIP room... For your infomation... All these duties needed climbing up and down the ladder... The DAMN TALL ladder... I noe appreciation is not something you get from a particular bunch of pple in NYNY but the least I wanted was sarcastic remarks... A particular Asst Manager came by and said: " I wanna see the VIP room back in it's original position by the time I do row call." Ok... Maybe he was kidding and I give him the benefit of the doubt as he usually is not an asshole... Take it as I took offence cos I was in a "dun-fuck-with-me" mood... Den came another particular Asst Manager who said: "Can you guys please hurry up? It's almost 6 already." Like hello... Where was he when everyone was doing their part in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant? He wasn't even there to ensure that everything is in order... He should just stick his freaking d**k into his own mouth to keep it shut... Den during row call... This same particular Asst Manager told us to give our station's customers personalised service and not bother about other pple's station... "So I dun wish to see *ding ding* and you leave your customers to do the food abouyer's job" Like WTF? We're not training our crew to be team players but individualistic, selfish members of the team... If there is even an existing one to start with... Ok... Den everything went pretty ok...Now... Climax of the night...I was station captain of station D... That same particular AM was my second captain... Some bitch who's eyeballs roll at the slightest human movement was the cashier... For your info... This bitch prefers communication with the human race via eyeball rolling... If you wanna be of the same frequency as her... Do practice how to communicate via eyeball rolling first...Yup... Den our dearest Jason's ear started bleeding... I dunno y... Obviously i had to let him go and attend to his ear right? And obviously I had to take care of the food abouyer's job... Thinking I still had an AM as my second captain to watch over my station... Who noes... Before I could even step back into my station... I kena complain that Table 62 ordered a Vongole but had not been served yet... I checked the order and our dearest bitch did not key it in... Oh btw... She also keyed in Peach cooler instaed of green apple cooler for Table 62 too... To my utmost surprise... When I was back at the station... All the sheets of orders where exactly the same as I had left them... What was my second captain doing? So I kena fucking attitude from the customer as i tried my best to rectify the matter... Kena treated worse den dog... I shall not go into details as wat they said to me... Kevin spoke to me but he din scold me or anything but just made me promise it wun happen again... However I felt damn lousy after dat...Mistakes made by me that resulted in this incident...1) I should have informed the 2nd captain that I was leaving the station...2) I should have constantly returned to my station to check its status no matter how busy...3) I should not have trusted that the second captain is capable of taking care of my station...4)I should have double checked all the orders that the bitch keyed... Knowing how smart she is...I did not explain nor try to explain what happened and why this happened... Neither did I try to push the blame to anyone... I admit that ultimately it WAS my fault as a station captain that sth like this happened... I'm willing to bear the blame... At no point of time did I try to push the blame to someone else... Unlike the bitch who immediately started pointing fingers when it happened... No one was pointing finger at her... Unknown to herself that when she pointed to someone... Her four other fingers were pointing to herself...Anyway... I apologised to Kevin and assured him it'll not happen again...Happy stuff...I decorated a chocolate heart today and Kevin said it was good... The new queue sign done up by Fiona was also put up today... Looks good... These are pictures of them...
Nice right? Haha... So happy cos the first time i did the cake it was an immediate failure... The second time was plain but acceptable... This time... 是美的loh!!!
Anyway... It's over today... Tomorrow will be a better day... I hope... And I'll be a better station captain... Cheers to tmr!!!

I'm back home from work and though it's been a short day at work... I dunno y i still feel damn tired... Today the irritating pest got on my nerve again... She was the cashier and I was in the dessert bar... Everytime I got order she would shout out my order... So I merely confirmed with her if the order was to be done den or for later... N she said to me(sarcastically), "If I shout out your order means it's for now... For later den i wun shout ..." I din wanna argue with her cos before dat i was in the kitchen and she told zhang yan to call me... I went out to only find out it was an order to be done later... But anyway... being the nice, mild-mannered me... I just said ok... However... She sabo me during my busiest time of the night... I had two orders running at the same time... They are as follow:-Table 30:One chocolate fondueOne mudpieOne blueberry pancake Four waffles with chocolate and ice-creamTable 11:One waffles with honey and ice-creamOne stampede sundaeOne Harlem sundaeDen came another order:One mudpie...Len (at the top of her voice as if I'm deaf): ONE MUDPIE!!!!!So since she said if she shout out my order it has to be done den... Guess wat? I did the order in the midst of my harlem sundae... I sent the order out only to have it returned to me and told that the order is to be done later...Like WTF!!!!!!!GRRRRR!!!!!!!Thank God I had Pei Boon as my witness that she shouted out the order... Anyway... I think somehow she knew I was quite pissed off and she was extremely friendly to me during closing... (Can buy 4D already man...)Anyway... That's just another day of my life at work... Stories after stories... Complains after complains... The day will end and the next will still come... N i will still go to work... Den get home and complain again... Dat's just me i suppose... Full of complains everyday... But will forget bout it the next day... Life goes on and i'm not staying in situ cos of some dumb ass... lol... Alright... It's getting late and I shall just end here... Yoz... Today will be starting work at 5 pm... The first time in 2 months dat i'm starting work so late... Feels good... Lol...

One boring afternoon... I had nothing to do... Bought the detergent CIF (those who do not noe what CIF is are those who dun do the household chores...) and started working on the waffle machines (since I was stationed in the dessert bar)... Spent 2.5 hours scrubbing them... This one shows one being greasy and the other shiny...
This pic shows a clearer difference of the two machines... One before scrubbing and the other after...
This is the final result of my effort... Both machines are able to reflect the light... Notice the reflection...

The above four are the new dessert items that will be launched soon in our new menu... P.S: I did them myself... (Of cos with guidance from Ronnie and Jenny... Our super corny and lame chefs...)
Few days back... I accompanied Jason to Cine to get his ear pierced during our common split break...
Jason: Pierce on top pain or not?
Me: Not pain lah...

Me: Yeah lah... I pierced 5 times alr...

Alright!!! It's been a long time since i last blogged... Almost two years i guess... Hmmm... What should i say? It's been a long story... That's all i could say... Anyway... Now I'm back home (in case u dunno)... Working in New York New York... So far so good... With the exception of some irritating pest (u find them everywhere u go)... Other den dat i guess everything is fine... The way i like... Great friends... Great boss... Life is just great now... Latest update... My grandpa (maternal) just passed away... I miss him dearly... Yet i feel happy for him as he had been suffering terrible medical conditions for the past few years... I guess it's sort of a relief for him... I'm sure he's a lot happier now... Apologies to old friends that I haven been meeting up... I'd been busy... I noe I've been saying we'll find time to meet up... But our timing really clash... Btw... My hp no has changed(for those whom I din not update) to 9199 3182... I've been using this no for the past half a year or so... Hope that those i've lost contact with will be able to find me... :)Hmmm... I wanna watch my dvd now and think i'll just stop here... Tmr working at 5pm... Can wake up late... Lol... Whee!!!NYNY rox!!!
